School Choir Partnership Program
The School Choir Partnership program (SCPP) is an exciting initiative for schools who wish to embrace the Centenary of Anzac in their curriculum while creating partnerships with Local Choir Mobs to support the RSL Sub-branches to commemorate the Centenary and beyond. This will also give schools access to related history, music and leadership resources and the ability to participate in combined activities such as research projects, media opportunities, festivals and competitions run by the RSL Rural Commemorative Youth Choir.
Creating Partner Mobs
The focus of this program is to create Partner Choir Mobs that will ensure a pathway for all children in your school to experience and understand the importance of the Centenary of Anzac through singing, storytelling and song then continue their involvement directly through their Local Choir Mob. This pathway is vital so children and parents can see how they can get involved in commemoration at the local community level, after a quality first experience at their school.
To join the SCPP and become an official Partner Mob, schools must meet a specified criteria. For the schools that deliver the program, there are some amazing benefits that will reward both the school and its students.
